Gwinnett County Fire Investigators say illegal fireworks caused damage to two businesses in Lawrenceville. 

Crews were called to World Finance and Las Canas at a shopping plaza at 1956 Duluth Hwy at 4:35 am Thursday. When they got there, they found smoke and fire coming from the center of the roof. They were able to quickly extinguish the fire on the roof.

Investigators say the illegal bottle rocket fireworks landed on the roof of the building, igniting the fire. The fireworks were shot from the adjacent parking lot.

Gwinnett County Police videotaped the erratic behavior of a .

He was tasered 14 times, had threatened to eat people and exhibited superhuman strength, according to police reports obtained by Patch.
