April 8 Snellville City Council Meeting Agenda

Discussion items include zoning ordinance variances and appointments to the Planning Commission and Board of Appeals.

Snellville City Council will meet April 8 for a regularly scheduled meeting at 7:30 p.m. at City Hall. A work session will be held at 6:30 p.m. The public is welcome to attend the regularly scheduled meeting.

Following the work session, the mayor and council will adjourn to discuss the following items during executive session:

  • LCI real estate litigation
  • Public works litigation matter

  • Three proclamations will be issued - National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week, National Donate Life Month and Arbor Day
  • The mayor and council will discuss an Economic Development Ordinance
  • The mayor and council will discuss an application by L&B JL LLC for a conditional use permit for various uses and request for variances from Zoning Ordinance for the .28 acre property (formerly Jiffy Lube, 2320 Ronald Reagan Parkway) zoned Highway Service Business. 
  • The mayor and council will discuss a supplemental lease for 2013 combination vactor vacuum/sewer truck under the GMA direct leasing program.
  • The mayor and council will discuss changing the residency requirement for the Snellville Public Arts Commission.
  • The mayor and council will discuss appointing Tod Warner to the Planning Commission and Tim Van Valkenburg to the Board of Appeals.
