March 20 Marks First Day of Spring

Cold weather is still lingering around but spring is officially here.

The start of spring came at exactly 7:02 a.m. on March 20. The sun crossed directly over the equator in a moment called the vernal equinox.

For those in the Northern Hemisphere, this signals warmer weather, and the growth of flora and fauna.

Spring last until June 21, when summer officially starts.
