Police said while information relating to a shooting Tuesday at Snellville Oaks is false, there was a police chase.
SNELLVILLE, GA — Police say information regarding a shooting Tuesday night in the area of Snellville Oaks - information that is being shared with the media - is false.
Snellville Police said there was a chase that ended with the suspects crashing a vehicle and running. There were no injuries in the crash.
Police searched for the suspects, and one person was arrested on unknown charges. It is unknown what led to the police chase.

"There was no shooting involved," police said in a statement. "We would always provide notification on this platform (Facebook) if we are involved in a shooting. We will always provide information to the media or on this platform if we are investigating a shooting."
