Criminals Attempting to Lure You Out of Your House
Snellville Police urge caution in the wake of criminals attempting to enter homes under false pretenses.

Snellville Police are warning residents to be wary of strangers, sometimes dressed in reflective vests, coming to homes and attempting to lure the homeowners out.
The most recent incident, according to a statement, involved two white males who told a homeowner they wanted to show her some trees they had to cut down in her neighbor's yard that affected her property.
"Once the homeowner was out of the house," a portion of the statement read, "one male attempted entry into the house."

That incident occurred off of Park Lane.
Another incident involved two males, one Hispanic, trying the same thing off Oak Road. More incidents occured in the Harbour Oaks subdivision. Both cases involved large pickup trucks, according to Snellville Police.

"Please never exit your house with people that you do not know or did not call to do work for you!" a Snellville PD Facebook post said. "Call the police immediately, and we can verify if they are legitimately doing business in your area."
