Local Resident and Georgia Country Music Hall of Famer Passes Away
Funeral arrangements have been made for John "Jack" Rowe.

John (Jack) Stuart Rowe passed away April 18, 2013. He was born Jan. 22, 1927 in Morganton, GA.
Rejoicing with him in Heaven are his parents, Hazel (Lord) and Vincent Rowe, brother Joseph Calvin, loving wife, Patsy and children, Joe and Carol.
Jack was a proud veteran of the US Navy, a Golden Gloves boxing champ, a talented picker and singer, and member of the Georgia Country Music Hall of Fame. He was always entertaining and good humored, even as his Alzheimer's disease progressed. Left to grieve him are grandson, William Michael English, good friend Victor Feldman, cousin Marolyn Randolph, and many friends and Collins cousins. The family asks you honor Jack by supporting the Alzheimer's Organization or the charity of your choice.

A Funeral Service Honoring the Life of John (Jack) S. Rowe will be held Sunday, April 21 at 3 p.m. at Tom M. Wages Snellville Chapel with Rev. Ben Butterworth officiating. Interment will be held at Westview Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:00pm until service time. Condolences may be viewed or sent to www.wagesfuneralhome.com. Tom M.
