Whataburger Plans To Open In Snellville
Whataburger is set to open 10 metro Atlanta locations in 2023, including in Snellville, according to the company.

SNELLVILLE, GA — What's coming to metro Atlanta? Whataburger.
The fast-food burger chain announced this week its plan to expand its Georgia footprint by opening in Snellville in 2023.
Currently, the only Whataburger in Georgia is in Thomasville.

Additional metro Atlanta locations are planned for 2023, with at least 50 more coming in the next seven years, according to a company release.
“Our team couldn’t be more excited to make history and open Whataburger’s doors to the Atlanta community," operating partner Rydell Johnson said in the release. "For those visiting us for the very first time, we always recommend starting with the No. 1, our namesake burger, but you can’t go wrong with any decision when it comes to fresh, made-to-order meals from Whataburger.”

An opening date has not been announced, but Whataburger plans to open the Snellville location at Scenic Highway North and North Road Southwest.
The restaurant chain is opening a Kennesaw location on Nov. 28, and the following in 2023:
- 9766 GA-92 in Woodstock
- 2925 Buford Drive in Buford
- 900 Pavilion Parkway in Monroe
- 10106 Alcovy Road in Covington
- 3201 Atlanta Highway in Athens
- 503 Lakeland Plaza in Cumming
- 15 Wallace Blvd. in Dawsonville
