A Blog on Patch Can Equal 4,400 Facebook 'Likes'

The possibility of reaching a vast audience is always there with a Patch blog. And it's easy to start.

This article originally posted in Cascade Patch in the Atlanta area.

A few days ago, we posted here about how and why to blog on Patch because, well, everyone has a story to tell. Everyone has insight, expertise, advise and knowledge they can share with their neighbors.

And in some cases those neighbors reached can number in the thousands and thousands very quickly. Such as Wednesday, when Molly Darden uploaded her smartly titled blog, “The Paula Deen Thing is Partly Our Fault.”

After a few hours it had mushroomed into the most popular story across PatchLand - and that includes more than 900 sites from coast-to-coast. Less than 24 hours later, it had accumulated more than 4,400 ‘likes’ on Facebook!

Blogging on Patch is such a simple and great way to get the word out about your interests, your business, your non-profit or your sports team, in a way that is true to your voice. It's creative marketing to your friends and neighbors.

And you can focus on Suwanee and Gwinnett issues that hit home, also.

Simply click the “start a blog” button on the homepage, click "post on Patch," and fill out the required fields. When done, hit "save and preview" and then submit it to us.
