Bring One for the Chipper

Through the Bring One for the Chipper program, the City of Suwanee is making it easy to discard your Christmas tree.

Undecorated Christmas trees can be dropped off at Sims Lake Park, 4600 Suwanee Dam Road, from dawn to dusk December 26-January 15. The city will recycle the trees into mulch for city parks.

Adult and teen volunteers are needed to help unload trees from vehicles from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, January 8. Residents who drop off their trees that day will get vegetable seed packets from the Ferry-Morse Seed Co.Β
