Health departments in Gwinnett are reminding people that flu season is here, and the best way to avoid catching it is by getting a flu shot. Flu shots are available to everyone six months and older at your local pharmacy, walk-in clinic, health department, or from your doctor. This year's shot inoculates against the H3N2, influenza B, and H1N1 strains. They also recommend that adults 65 and older with chronic illness or a compromised immune system get a pneumonia shot.ο»Ώ
