The Gwinnett Humane Society is entirely operated by volunteers, and they can always use a helping hand. Volunteers can serve in a number of ways, including: manning the phone lines, working at the information kiosk, raising funds, performing odd jobs, or providing needy pets with a temporary home. Volunteers are required to fill out an application and participate in a training session before they may begin actively volunteering for the society. Adult volunteers must be age 19 or older. Teens aged 14 - 18 years may participate as junior volunteers if their parents are also volunteering. ο»Ώ
