Courtesy of the Gwinnett Department of Transportation, here's the road closure situation for January 12-18, 2013.

  • Β AlcovyΒ RoadΒ fromΒ CampbellΒ RoadΒ to West Drowning CreekΒ RoadΒ willΒ require intermittent laneΒ closureΒ through February 2013 for roadway improvements associated with Sugarloaf Parkway extension, weather permitting. Any suchΒ closuresΒ will be between the hours of 9:00am and 4:00pm.
  • Creekling StreetΒ will close on October 1 through January 2013 for drainage improvements. The detour route will be Creekling Street to Creek Hollow Way to Creek Hollow Drive to Old NorcrossΒ RoadΒ to Creekling Street and the reverse.   • Grayson New HopeΒ RoadΒ at ChandlerΒ RoadΒ will require intermittent laneΒ closuresΒ throughΒ FebruaryΒ 2013Β forΒ intersection improvements, weather permitting. Any suchΒ closuresΒ will be between the hours of 9:00am and 4:00pm.
  • Jimmy Carter Boulevard at SingletonΒ RoadΒ will require intermittent laneΒ closuresΒ through April 2013 for roadway and pedestrian improvements, weather permitting. Any suchΒ closuresΒ will be between the hours of 9:00am and 4:00pm.
  • Killian HillΒ RoadΒ from Stonemont Drive to Pathfinder WayΒ will require intermittent laneΒ closures, and traffic shifts through May 2013 for bridge replacement and roadway improvements, weather permitting. Any suchΒ closuresΒ will be between the hours of 9:00am and 4:00pm.
  • New HopeΒ RoadΒ from Country Acres Lane to Ivy Lea Drive SEΒ will require intermittent laneΒ closures, and traffic shiftsΒ through FebruaryΒ 2013 for roadwayΒ improvements and intersection alignments, weather permitting. Any suchΒ closuresΒ will be between the hours of 9:00am and 4:00pm.Β

  • North Berkeley LakeΒ RoadΒ from BushΒ RoadΒ to Lakeshore DriveΒ will close on March 19, 2012Β through February 2013 for Berkeley Lake Dam repairs. The detour route will be North Berkeley LakeΒ RoadΒ to Peachtree Industrial Boulevard to South Berkeley LakeΒ RoadΒ to North Berkeley LakeΒ RoadΒ and the reverse.
  • Old Norcross TuckerΒ RoadΒ from BrittΒ RoadΒ to South Norcross TuckerΒ RoadΒ will require intermittent laneΒ closuresthroughΒ FebruaryΒ 2013Β for roadway improvements, weather permitting.Β Any suchΒ closuresΒ will be between the hours of 9:00am and 4:00pm.
  • Old PeachtreeΒ RoadΒ at Sunny HillΒ RoadΒ will require intermittent laneΒ closuresΒ throughΒ JanuaryΒ 2013Β for roadway improvements, weather permitting. Any suchΒ closuresΒ will be between the hours of 9:00am and 4:00pm.
  • Pleasant HillΒ RoadΒ from Breckinridge Boulevard/ShacklefordΒ RoadΒ to Venture ParkwayΒ will require intermittent laneclosures, and traffic shifts through August 2013 forΒ roadΒ work and I-85 interchange improvements, weather permitting. Any suchclosuresΒ will be between the hours of 9:00am to 4:00pm, and 9:00pm to 6:00am.

  • Sidney Lanier Boulevard at Pleasant HillΒ RoadΒ will beΒ closedΒ to through traffic beginning September 26, 2012 throughJanuary 2013Β for roadway improvements, weather permitting. The detour will be Pleasant HillΒ RoadΒ to Park Bluff Lane to Raven Way to Sidney Lanier Boulevard and the reverse.
  • Snow Trail from Inns Brook Way to Inns Brook DriveΒ will close on November 27 through January 2013 for culver replacement, weather permitting.Β  The detour route will be Snow Trail to Inns Brook Way to Mink LivseyΒ RoadΒ to LeeΒ RoadΒ to Alpine Court to Hapsburg Way to Inns Brook Drive to Snow Trail and the reverse.Β For further information contact the Department of Water Resources atΒ Β 678.376.7000.

  • SR 20/Clayton Street/Grayson Highway from SR 124/Scenic Highway to CooperΒ Road/OzoraΒ RoadΒ will require intermittent laneΒ closuresΒ through June 2013 for ATMS improvements, weather permitting.Β Any suchΒ closuresΒ will be between the hours of 9:00am and 4:00pm.
