When privatizing Briscoe Field failed, the citizens review panel still saw improvements that were needed.
On Tuesday, airport director Matt Smith gave Gwinnett commissioners a report on some of the work. In 2012, about $17,000 was spent.
In 2013, some $794,000 in local funds and $1.4 million in federal funds are planned for the airport.
