NEWS NEARBY: Gwinnett Police Probe Possible Shoe Collection Angle in Teen's Slaying
News from Patch sites in the area.

Gwinnett Police say that a shoe collection is one angle they are considering as a possible motive in the recent slaying of Grayson High student Paul Sampleton Jr.
"We are looking into that angle, among other things," Cpl. Jake Smith said. "I can only say that the investigation is ongoing at this point. We'll always accept tips from the public atΒ Β 770-513-5300."
WSB-TV first reported that friends of the teen believe the murder could have been over shoes. Sampleton was reported to have an extensive shoe collection and frequented aΒ Facebook site called ATATFΒ - ADDICTED TO ALL THINGS FRESH. The site is a swap and sell high-priced items, including shoes. Information from the initial incident report obtained by several media outlets claim that the body of the teen was found "on the floor of the kitchen just inside of the interior garage door," and that the teen possibly had been tied up or restrained.
