North Gwinnett Ranked Among Nation's Elite Teams
Also, Peachtree Ridge moves up in the state rankings.
The unbeaten North Gwinnett football team continues to gain attention.
The Bulldogs (3-0) are ranked No. 7 nationally in the latest rankings by MaxPreps, which is affiliated with CBS Sports.
North is cruising along after last Friday's 36-17 win over Gwinnett rival Norcross, which also is the defending Class 6A champ. The Bulldogs also continued as the No. 1 team statewide in 6A, by Georgia High School Football Daily and the Atlanta Journal Constitution.
Also gathering steam is Peachtree Ridge. The Lions (3-0) advanced to No. 7 statewide after Friday's rout of Gwinnett rival Duluth.
This week, North Gwinnett hosts Meadowcreek, and Peachtree Ridge is at Mill Creek.
And check Collins Hill -- the Eagles are 3-0, and are idle this week.
