Principal to Salute Suwanee High School Graduates

Principal Kevin Tashlein will address graduates of Peachtree Ridge High School this week. Check out who will speak at other area graduations.

Peachtree Ridge High's principal will be among speakers at the commencement ceremony this week, according to district officials.

Kevin Tashlein has been principal at the school since 2008.

In a recent statement to the school community, Tashlein said: "We look forward to a graduation ceremony that will be special and memorable for every one of our graduates."

The school has the third-highest number of 2013 graduates with 769 seniors. Of those students, 251 are honor graduates.

This year, those honor graduates helped put the school in the No. 11 spot of Georgia's top schools, according to U.S. News & World Report.

The ceremony takes place 8 a.m., May 23 at the Gwinnett Center Arena.
