Traffic Relief Has a Price in Suwanee
Road work is causing some congestion at a key intersection.

Road work that is designed to provide some traffic relief at a busy Suwanee intersection is itself producing some backups.
Traffic backups have been reported at the intersection of Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road and Satellite Boulevard, a key commercial intersection. The reason: Road crews are at work.
The project by Gwinnett County workers is to extend the left turn lane at northbound Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road onto Satellite Boulevard. The work is expected to be completed by the end of 2013.
City officials suggest these alternatives, via Facebook: Try to avoid exiting I-85 at Exit 111, and take an alternate route for Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road, such as the McGinnis Ferry Road bypass.
