Jeep Stolen From Hand in Hand Parking Lot Found in SW Atlanta

A Jeep that Atlanta Police believe was taken from the parking lot of in Virginia-Highland on Sunday night was recovered Monday, according to a police spokesman.

The car, police said, was found abandoned without tags at Pickfair Way and Pickfair Avenue near Lakewood.

Police recieved a call around 8 p.m. Sunday night about the stolen car. 

A 44-year-old man told police he was returning to the bar from the bathroom when he heard his car alarm outside. He said he noticed his keys were taken from the bar where he left them and then realized his car was gone from the parking lot.

Police said they have no suspects at this time. The victim described "two poorly dressed males sitting across from him" at the bar, according to police, but no further description of the men was given.
