Register Your Group Activity For Atlanta Streets Alive

On Oct. 6, the major streets in Virginia Highland and Poncey Highland will be blocked off for the enjoyment of walkers, cyclists and skaters.


Atlanta Streets Alive is returning to Virginia Highland and Poncey Highland on Sunday, Oct. 6.

Major thoroughfares will be blocked off four hours for the enjoyment of cyclists, skaters, walkers and people on scooters. No cars allowed.

If you're part of a group that would like to organize an activity for Oct. 6, go to the Streets Alive webpage and fill out the online form.

Streets to be blocked off include North Highland Avenue, Highland Avenue, Virginia Avenue and Boulevard and Monroe Drive. Go to the Streets Alive website to see a map.

Another Streets Alive event will be held in the fall. The Peachtree Street version will be held Sunday, Sept. 8.
