VaHi Resident Collecting Toys and Blankets for Shelter Dogs

Deadline to donate gently used toys, blankets and towels is Feb. 1.

From Virginia Highland resident Kristin Tremblay:

Our local animal shelters need us again this year. I am asking my neighborhood to join in my efforts. If you have any gently used dog toys or blankets, now is the time to donate them. The shelters prefer the rubber/plastic toys so they can sanitize them, but they love all treats and blankets or towels.

Take a moment to look at your dog, comfy and warm, snuggled on their beds, and remember the ones who aren't so lucky, outside on the concrete floor of a scary animal shelter.

If you have anything to spare, you can drop them off at 790 Highland Terrace, 30306. Or if you email me at kt1017@gmail.com and tell me the address, I will come get them.

The deadline is Feb, 1, and I will make my rounds delivering mid February.
