Virginia-Highland Coffee Shop Robbed, Police Still Looking for Suspect
Police are looking for a man who robbed San Francisco Coffee House on Thursday.

An employee working the cash register at on N. Highland Avenue was robbed at gunpoint in broad daylight Thursday afternoon, according to a store manager and the Atlanta Police Department.
No one was injured in the robbery, a police spokesman said Thursday.
Atlanta police believe the man responsible for the robbery was wearing "a tan cap and a long sleeve shirt with writing on the front" when he robbed the coffee shop around 2 p.m.

According to VirginiaHighlandConnect.org, a man "stepped up to the counter, placed an order then pulled out a small pistol and said, '… and I’ll take everything in that drawer.'"
Residents in the neighborhood were alerted instantly about the incident by a mobile alert sent by VHAlerts, a Virginia-Highland emergency broadcast system started by residents after the shooting on Virginia Avenue last year.

A manager at SF Coffee confirmed the robbery but had no additional comments.
