- The Beach Boys are performing at the Hero Arena at the Mountain America Center in Idaho Falls! The popular group has been making music for over half a century, and will continue the legacy with a concert on Sep. 1. See Mike Love, Bruce Johnston, as well as musical director Scott Totten, Brian Eichenberger, Christian Love, Tim Bonhomme, John Cowsill, Keith Hubacher and Randy Leago. Note, Brian Wilson, Al Jardine, and David Marks will not be performing. Tickets go on sale May 19 at 10:00 a.m. and start at $44.50. (LocalNews8.com)
- Home prices are inflated throughout the U.S., but some Idaho Falls metro cities are more expensive than others. Stacker ranked the cities with the most expensive homes in the Idaho Falls metro area based on location, size, age, and condition. The bottom of the list included Irwin, Lewisville, and Roberts, and the top of the list with the most expensive homes included Victor, Swan Valley, and Wayan, which had a five-year price increase of 147 percent. - A drop in water pressure in the Falls Water Co. distribution system prompted a boil water advisory for eight schools and surrounding neighborhoods. Falls Waterβs General Manager Scott Bruce said the advisory was placed out of an abundance of caution but no contaminants had been found in the water. The affected schools were Bridgewater Elementary, Summit Hills Elementary, Cloverdale Elementary, Discovery Elementary, Black Canyon Middle School, Thunder Ridge High School, Bonneville Online High School, and the Technical Careers High School. As of 11:15 a.m. Friday, the order has been lifted. (East Idaho News)
