- This summer, Melaleuca is offering a free Information Technology (IT) Boot Camp to high school students. A total of 25 students from southeast Idaho are being invited to this camp, which takes place at Melaleuca Global Headquarters in Idaho Falls from Jul. 24 to Jul. 28. Students will be able to develop their own apps and web pages, as well as attend guest lectures and receive mentorship from Melaleuca's IT directors. (Idaho Falls Magazine)
- Businesses in the Idaho Falls area are facing a significant decline in sales due to a major construction project at an intersection. The project, focused on adding lanes and upgrading infrastructure, is projected to finish in the fall. However, the closure of the main entrance to a strip of businesses has led to decreased customer traffic, causing financial hardships for many establishments, including one business that has experienced a staggering 90 percent decrease in sales over the past two months. - Renowned celebrity dancer Derek Hough, famous for his achievements on "Dancing with the Stars," is set to present his captivating show, "Derek Hough Symphony of Dance," at the Mountain America Center in December.
