Experience Martin Luther King Day from a unique vantage as Rev. and Mrs. King walk though America today -- and visit the President.&nbsp;
“Strollin’ Down MLK” is an interactive two-character, one-act play produced by Kingdom Impact Theater Ministries. This special Martin Luther King Day show will be presented in association with the Elk Grove Village Interfaith Council at Prince of Peace Methodist Church.&nbsp;
Curtain raises at 11 AM followed immediately by an audience Q&amp;A with the cast. The is free event, however, reservations are requested.“Strollin’ Down MLK” is the first of original productions in the KIT Ministries six-play series, “Convergence of History: Four Anniversaries, One Faith,” that dramatize people and events of U.S. and African-American history and the role of Christianity in shaping each.

<h2>Our Event Takes Off This June</h2>
<h5>Race Date: Saturday, June 27, 2026 at 8:00 AM</h5>
Join us for a 5K Run, 1 Mile Walk and Kids Dash on the main runway and taxiways at Chicago Executive Airport in Wheeling, Illinois. The 5K course is USATF Certified, and chip timed. Hang out after your event for podium awards, music, food, giveaways and kids activities. Plus keep an eye out for princess and superhero guest appearances through the morning!
Strollers and wagons are welcome. No pets are allowed. 
<h6>In case of inclement weather, a cancellation call will be made by 8:30AM on event day. This is a fundraising event with proceeds benefiting local aviation scholarships. As a result, no refunds will be issued, and the event will not be rescheduled.</h6>
