Chicagoland's First City Works Opening In Schaumburg
Where and when Chicagoland's first City Works location is set to open.

SCHAUMBURG, IL— The first City Works location for the Chicagoland area will open in Schaumburg next month under General Manager Paul Williams. Chicago-based Bottleneck Management announced Wednesday in a release the new restaurant, located at 1850 E. Gold Road, will bring an extensive craft beer list of more than 90 local, regional and global craft beers, in addition to "classic American cuisine with chef-driven twists" to the area in late February. This will be the pour house and eatery's eighth location throughout the country.
According to a release, the new City Works location features a 5,300 square-foot patio with an indoor and outdoor bar, a jumbo 130" HDTV, a bocce court, and 9,200 square feet interior part of the restaurant with seating for 158, bar seating for 23, 11 65" and four 110" HDTVs. Bottleneck Management adds the restaurant also has a private event space with a 110" HDTV that can accommodate up to 50 people and 36 for a seated event.
Roughly 40 percent of City Works' draft selection is sourced from breweries around the Chicagoland area. The draft system also extends to eight varieties of draft wine (wine on tap), which the company said contributes to zero waste, as the draft provides no oxidation and no corkage, therefore reducing spoilage.
