Christmas 2018: What's Open, Closed In Arlington Heights

What's open, what's closed, and what's got special holiday hours from Christmas Eve to New Year's Day in Arlington Heights this year.

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — The home stretch of the holiday season has arrived. Most official organizations are closed for the holiday, but certain businesses will stay open.

Last-minute shoppers will be out picking up presents and ingredients for holiday meals, travelers will be on the roads and in the air to meet family and friends for the festive period and most students will be enjoying their winter break through the start of 2019.

First responders and employees at some businesses will be working on Christmas and New Year's Day, but many area employers will be closed to give workers a chance to gather to share the holiday with loved ones.
