Fireworks For Fourth Of July: When To See Them In Arlington Heights

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — In Arlington Heights, celebrating the Fourth of July this year by taking in a traditional fireworks display means being ready a day early. That's when Arlington International Racecourse lights up the sky with its annual pyrotechnics display.

But the Independence Day fun isn't limited to the fireworks at the racetrack. Food and beverages will be available, and the band Folk Yeah will play live. Gates open at 2 p.m. Monday, July 3, and festivities begin at 4:15 p.m., culminating with fireworks at dusk (around 9:30 p.m.). Tickets are $22 for adults, $4 for kids.
