Man Charged In Burger King Killing: Des Plaines Police
Antonio Solorio is charged with first-degree murder, police said.

DES PLAINES, IL — A Mount Prospect man has been arrested and is accused of fatally stabbing another man at a Burger King in Des Plaines, according to police.
Antonio Solorio, 42, of the 1600 block of West Cottonwood Lane, is charged with first-degree murder in connection with Wednesday’s deadly attack on Mario Jara-Antemante, 28, of Mount Prospect, police said.
The incident occurred shortly before 6 p.m. during a confrontation outside the restaurant in the 800 block of South Elmhurst Road, according to police. Solorio chased Jara-Antemante into the eatery and stabbed him, police said, noting the men knew each other and had several acquaintances in common.

Solorio fled before officers arrived and Jara-Antemante was taken to a hospital, where he died, according to police.
Investigators identified Solorio through witness accounts and surveillance, police said. He was taken into custody Friday afternoon outside a relative’s home in Streamwood and gave a full confession, according to police, who said he was charged Sunday morning and will await a detention hearing.
