Storage-Locker Auction Leads Cops to Stash of Kiddie Porn
Accused child molester couldn't pay his rental fee because he was sitting in jail.

Kiddie porn found in an abandoned storage locker in Arlington Heights has led to double-trouble for a suspected child molester.
After Robert A. Shachter, 50, failed to make rental payments on a storage locker, his belongings were auctioned, according to court records reviewed by the Daily Herald. Shachter couldn’t pay his bill because he was sitting in jail, arrested in May and charged with predatory sexual assault and sexual abuse on accusations he molested a child in Elgin.
The bidder found what appeared to be a lot of child porn in the storage unit, including possible photographs of that girl, who was 7 or 8 at the time of the molestation.
