$1 Movies: 'Jaws,' 'The Big Lebowski' To Show At Paramount Theatre

AURORA, IL — Classic movies are scheduled to show for a single dollar during the soon-to-start Movie Mondays series at Paramount Theatre.

The beloved, Chicago-set "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" will kick off the series April 29. At 7 p.m. on most Mondays through July, movie-goers can watch modern cinema classics on the two-story screen at the downtown Aurora performing arts center, at 23 E. Galena Blvd.

Tickets will be available at the door for cash only — only bills of $20 or less will be accepted. Drinks from a full-service bar and concessions, including a $7 deal for a combination of a large buttered popcorn and a large soft drink, will be available for purchase using credit and debit cards.
