$1M Bail For Aurora Man Accused Of Severely Injuring 2-Month-Old
The child is in critical but stable condition after being airlifted to a local trauma center, according to police.

AURORA, IL — A 27-year-old Aurora man is being held on $1 million bail after police alleged he abused and severely injured a 2-month-old infant.
Brian Clemente was arrested and charged with aggravated battery to a child and aggravated domestic battery, according to Kane County court records.

Aurora police said officers were called around 4:20 a.m. Sunday to Clemente’s home, where they found a 2-month-old infant who was bleeding from her mouth and had swelling. The infant was taken to a local hospital and later airlifted to a trauma center in serious condition, police said.
The child was in critical but stable condition Monday at the trauma center, recovering from multiple injuries, including bleeding on her brain, police said.

Police allege Clemente intentionally injured the infant. Clemente was arraigned Wednesday in Kane County court, with a judge setting his bail at $1 million. He must post $100,000 to be released.
Clemente is due to appear in court Jan. 20.
