4 Adults Displaced In Fire At Multi-Family Aurora Building: AFD
The fire was located in the basement of a two-story, multi-family building on Aurora's far east side.

AURORA, IL — Four adults were displaced Friday after a fire broke out at a multi-family building on Aurora's far east side, officials said.
A total of 26 personnel were dispatched at 2:37 p.m. Friday to the building in the 400 block of Plaza Place. The first crews to arrive reported heavy smoke conditions from the front and rear of the two-story structure, finding the fire in the basement, according to a news release.
Firefighters brought the fire under control within 20 minutes, but crews remained on the scene for about two hours to ensure there was no extension in the main unit or nearby. The fire remains under investigation by the Aurora Fire Department.

Victim Services was contacted to assist the displaced residents. Officials said no injuries were reported to any residents or firefighters.
