Apartment Fire Injures Six Aurora Residents, Firefighter
Six residents of an apartment building in the 800 block of North Lake Street were treated at local hospitals, officials said.

AURORA, IL — Half a dozen Aurora residents were taken to local hospitals to be treated for smoke inhalation after a fire Wednesday afternoon on the city’s west side. A firefighter was treated for a minor injury at the scene of the fire, the Aurora Fire Department said in a Facebook post.
Firefighters put out the flames at the apartment building the 800 block of North Lake Street and officials are investigating the fire's cause. More information is expected to be released later Wednesday.
Two Pace buses were at the location of the fire to allow residents who were evacuated from the building to get out of the heat, officials said.
