Aurora Bank Robbed Monday Afternoon; FBI Search For Suspect
A man in his mid-40s robbed the Fifth-Third Bank on Broadway by passing a note to a teller demanding money, according to the FBI.

AURORA, IL — The FBI is searching for a man who robbed a Fifth-Third Bank in Aurora on Monday afternoon.
A man in his mid-40s robbed the bank at 34 S. Broadway St. just before 2 p.m. Monday by passing a note to a teller demanding money, according to the FBI. The man did not show or imply he had any type of weapon, federal agents said.

The FBI released photos of the suspect Tuesday morning and said he was wearing a gray sweatshirt, light blue jeans, dark sneakers, a dark green skull cap, sunglasses and a surgical mask.

A spokesperson for the FBI’s Chicago office did not immediately respond to Patch’s request for more information about the robbery.
