Thieves Crash Vehicle Through Doors Of Aurora Best Buy: Police
"Numerous suspects" stole merchandise from an Aurora Best Buy after crashing a vehicle into the store's front doors, police said.
AURORA, IL — Aurora police are investigating an early morning burglary at a Best Buy in which "numerous suspects" crashed a vehicle into store's front doors and stole merchandise.
Around 4:30 a.m. Wednesday, officers responded to the Best Buy in the 4400 block of East New York Street after receiving a report that someone had crashed through the front doors of the store, according to Aurora police spokesperson Paris Lewbel.

Lewbel said the group stole items from inside the store but did not provide more details about the burglary. Police did not provide descriptions of the suspects.
A Target store in Yorkville was also burglarized Wednesday morning, but Yorkville and Aurora police did not say whether the two burglaries were connected.

Five people broke into the Target store using a car jack to break the glass on its front doors, Yorkville police said. The suspects tried to steal a TV but weren’t able to load it in their white Dodge Durango, police said.
Burglars Hit Yorkville Target, Escape Police On Route 47: Police
Yorkville police tried to pull over the suspects’ vehicle but called off their pursuit after it did not stop.
The Dodge Durango was last seen going south on Route 47, police said.
