Aurora Man Sentenced To 12 Years For Child Sexual Assault
Prosecutors said the 37-year-old man sexually assaulted a minor multiple times between 2011 and 2018.
AURORA, IL — An Aurora man was sentenced Thursday to serve a dozen years in prison after pleading guilty to two counts of criminal sexual assault.
Rogelio Gaona Garcia, 37, sexually assaulted a minor multiple times between 2011 and 2018, while the child was less than 17, Kane County prosecutors said in a news release.

Garcia must serve at least 85 percent of his 12-year sentence and register as a sex offender for the rest of his life once he is released, prosecutors said.
He will receive credit for serving more than 650 days in the Kane County jail between his arrest and his sentencing.
