AURORA, IL — Chief Kristen Ziman will continue to lead the Aurora Police Department for the foreseeable future after being passed over for the same position in Nashville.

Nashville Mayor John Cooper on Monday named John Drake to serve as the city’s next police chief, after Drake led the department with “a steady hand” on an interim basis since the previous chief’s resignation in August, The Tennesseean reports.
