AURORA, IL — Aurora officials are encouraging residents whose homes were damaged in last night's storm to fill out a survey so the city can see how the weather affected the area.

The data from the survey will help the Aurora Emergency Management Agency understand the damage that occurred during the storm that downed trees and cut power to many in the Kane County area, according to Kane County Connects.

In Geneva, Northwestern Medicine Delnor Hospital lost power Monday night, and the Kane County Courthouse saw tree damage. Several homes in St. Charles and Elburn were damaged.
