Bicyclist Killed In Hit-And-Run; Aurora Police Search For Driver

AURORA, IL — Aurora police are searching for a driver they say hit and killed a bicyclist Saturday evening on the city’s East Side.

Callers reported around 7:30 p.m. Saturday that a biker was hit by a vehicle near the intersection of Montgomery Road and White Eagle Drive, according to police. Paramedics tried to save the person’s life, but they were declared dead at the site of the crash, police said.

Aurora police did not offer any description of the vehicle that struck the biker but are asking anyone with information to call its Traffic Division at 630-256-5330 or Crime Stoppers at 630-892-1000.
