Emerson College dean’s list includes Aurora student
Danika Benziger of Aurora earned Dean's List list honors from Emerson College for the Spring 2024 Semester.

The requirement to make the dean's list is a grade point average of 3.7 or higher for that semester.
Benziger is majoring in Creative Writing BFA and is a member of the Class of 2026.

Aurora student participated in summer 2024 internship
Central College student Logan Mont of Aurora (60506) is participating in a Summer 2024 internship with KPMG LLP in Des Moines, Iowa. Mont, a business management major, is in the Central Class of 2024.

Aurora student graduates from Coe College
Congratulations to Valerie Plesha, who was among a group of truly exceptional graduates this past year at Coe College.
Plesha, of Aurora, IL was awarded a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Chemistry, Neuroscience and Biochemistry.
The graduating Kohawks demonstrated excellence in academics, athletics and the arts; were leaders in research and community service; and completed thousands of internship hours with local, national and international organizations. They leave Coe equipped with the resumes and determination to expand their leadership roles into their budding professional lives.

Local student named to Harding University dean’s list
Starlline Laguerre, a Sophomore studying communication sciences and disorders, is among more than 1,300 Harding University students recognized for their academic excellence from grades achieved during the Spring 2024 semester.
The dean's list is published each semester by Dr. Marty Spears, University provost, honoring those who have achieved high scholarship. To be eligible, a student must be carrying 12 or more hours with a 3.65 or higher grade-point average and no incompletes.

Student from Aurora named to University of Mississippi Chancellor's Honor Roll
Bradley Reimer, of Aurora, IL, was named to the University of Mississippi's Spring 2024 Honor Roll lists.
Reimer, majoring in Law Studies, was named to the Chancellor's Honor Roll, which is reserved for students who earn a semester GPA of 3.75-4.00.
"The remarkable students achieving Chancellor's Honor Roll are among the best and brightest at the University of Mississippi," Chancellor Glenn Boyce said. "I commend them for their hard work and dedication resulting in their outstanding academic achievements and this well-deserved recognition."
To be eligible for honor roll designation, a student must have completed at least 12 graded hours for the semester and may not be on academic probation during the semester.

Aurora student named on dean’s honor roll at University of Mississippi
Tyler Johnson, of Aurora, was named to the University of Mississippi's Spring 2024 Honor Roll lists.
Johnson, majoring in Finance, was named to the Dean's Honor Roll, which is reserved for students who earn a semester GPA of 3.50-3.74.
To be eligible for honor roll designation, a student must have completed at least 12 graded hours for the semester and may not be on academic probation during the semester.
