Downtown Aurora Bank Robbed Wednesday: Police
Police and FBI officials are investigating a reported robbery at the Fifth Third Bank in downtown Aurora.

AURORA, IL — The Fifth Third Bank in downtown Aurora was robbed Wednesday evening, according to police.
Aurora police said they were not able to locate any suspects after they responded to the bank at the intersection of Downer Place and Broadway.
The FBI's Chicago office on Wednesday night released two photos of a man suspected to have committed the robbery. The FBI described the suspect as an approximately 45-year-old white man who is about 6 feet tall. In the photos, the man is wearing a white T-shirt, gray sweatpants, white shoes and glasses.

The FBI is leading the investigation, as bank robberies are federal crimes, according to an Aurora police spokesperson. Additional information was not immediately available Wednesday evening.
Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call the FBI's Chicago office at (312) 421-6700. The FBI said it is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for anyone who provides information that leads to the suspect's arrest.
