GoFundMe Created For Families Of Aurora Shooting Victims
City of Aurora, Aurora PD, Aurora FD and public safety officials created fund to support the shooting victims' families.

AURORA, IL — The Aurora community has come together in support of the families of the five employees who lost their lives and the officers who were injured during Friday's shooting at the Henry Pratt company. A GoFundMe page, titled the #AuroraStrong Community Fund, has been created and administered by the City to help the victims' families during this difficult time.
"The City of Aurora, APD, AFD and our public safety officials are supporting the families of those who sadly lost their lives and those who were injured in this senseless tragedy," the page reads.
On Saturday, Aurora police released the names of the five deceased victims in Friday's workplace shooting at a valve manufacturing plant on the city's west side, as well as updates on the condition of the six officers who were injured, and a sixth employee who was also treated for non-life threatening gunshot wounds.
