Man Shot Sunday Morning On Aurora’s West Side: Police

A man took himself to the hospital after being shot around 4 a.m. Sunday in the 500 block of Park Avenue, according to police.

AURORA, IL — Aurora police are investigating an early Sunday morning shooting that left one man injured.

A man was shot around 4 a.m. Sunday in the 500 block of Park Avenue before taking himself to a local hospital, where he was treated for injuries that were not life-threatening, police said.

The Aurora Police Department is asking anyone with information about the shooting to call its Investigations Division at 630-256-5500 or Crime Stoppers at 630-892-1000.
