AURORA, IL — The Venue will ring in its fifth anniversary with a weekend of outdoor live music.

The performance hall on South Broadway in downtown Aurora opened on June 1, 2019. Operated by the nonprofit Fox Valley Music Foundation, The Venue is supported in large part by a group of volunteers who also staff shows.

During its anniversary celebration from May 31 to June 2 at Mundy Park, adjacent to The Venue, audiences can hear fiddle players, "steady-grooving funk" and a Jimmy Buffet tribute band.
