Overnight Warming Center Opens As Aurora Temps Drop Beneath 15 Degrees
Temperatures are forecast to drop to 13 degrees Thursday night in Aurora, according to The Weather Channel.

AURORA, IL — A temporary overnight warming center will be open through Friday in Aurora as temperatures drop beneath 15 degrees, city officials said.
Wesley United Methodist Church, at 14 N. May St., opened at 8 p.m. Wednesday as a warming center until 8 a.m. Thursday. The church will operate within the same timeframe again from Thursday night into Friday morning.
Thursday night, temperatures are forecast to drop to 13 degrees in Aurora, according to The Weather Channel. Temperatures will start to rise again into the weekend with a high of 31 on Friday, 42 on Saturday and 50 on Sunday, Patch reported.

The church will provide a cot, snacks and water to anyone staying. Security will also be on-site at all times, according to an alert from Aurora officials.
