Pedestrian Struck At New York Street Intersection: Aurora PD

AURORA, IL — A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle Thursday night at the intersection of East New York Street and West Park Place, according to Aurora police.

Officers posted an alert at 7:04 p.m. on Facebook asking the public to use alternate routes while emergency services worked to clear the roadway following the crash.

Police did not provide additional information about the incident and did not respond to Patch's request for comment at the time of publication.
