Ribbon Cutting Date Set For New Fox Valley Apartments In Former School
Vacant since 2009, the school was transformed into 14 apartments, joining a new building that was constructed to house 22 other units.

AURORA, IL — City officials have set Sept. 4 as the date for the ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating the new Fox Valley Apartments at the former Lincoln Elementary School.
Vacant since 2009, the school was transformed into 14 apartments, joining another 22 units in a newly constructed building. The 36 affordable apartments, comprising one-, two- and three-bedroom floor plans, make up the Fox Valley Apartments.
The unveiling marks the second half of the Fox Valley Apartment complex, which encompasses two former schools. The former Todd Elementary School, which closed five years ago, reopened in March as the new apartments.
