Rocket League Gaming Tournament Planned For 1st Aurora Gaming Series
Aurora will close out 2024 by launching its inaugural Aurora Gaming Series with a Rocket League Tournament.
AURORA, IL — Aurora is launching the Aurora Gaming Series, featuring the city's first-ever Rocket League Tournament Dec. 30.
The competitive, head-to-head tournament between two teams of two players each will take place from 6-9 p.m. on the last Monday of the year at UTime Gamers inside Fox Valley Mall.
Teams will have a chance to compete for a $500 grand prize, a trophy and "the honor of being named the first-ever winners of the Aurora Gaming Series," city officials said.

The match will be livestreamed on ACTV — the city's channel that can be found on Xfinity Channel 10 or AT&T Channel 99 — Twitch, YouTube and the City of Aurora app.
Registration is free and can be completed on the city's website. Officials said they expect the limited space to fill up quickly.
