ST. CHARLES, IL — St. Charles first responders gave a helping hand to two nonprofits in the city ahead of Christmas.

The St. Charles Police Department raised $2,100 through its “No Shave November” fundraiser for Lazarus House, which provides shelter and services to homeless people.
