Strangulation Death: Aurora Man Charged With Murder

Prosecutors allege a 21-year-old Aurora man strangled and killed a 20-year-old woman after an argument last week.

AURORA, IL — A 21-year-old Aurora man is facing two counts of first-degree murder after prosecutors alleged he strangled a 20-year-old woman to death.

Prosecutors say Getzuri Arellano, 21, of the 1100 block of Indian Avenue, was arguing early Wednesday morning with Natalie Jimenez, of Aurora, before he strangled and killed her, the Aurora Beacon-News reports.

A Kane County judge on Saturday set Arellano’s bail at $3 million, the report states. He is due to appear in court Dec. 18.
