AURORA, IL — A 21-year-old Aurora man is facing two counts of first-degree murder after prosecutors alleged he strangled a 20-year-old woman to death.
Prosecutors say Getzuri Arellano, 21, of the 1100 block of Indian Avenue, was arguing early Wednesday morning with Natalie Jimenez, of Aurora, before he strangled and killed her, the Aurora Beacon-News reports.
A Kane County judge on Saturday set Arellano’s bail at $3 million, the report states. He is due to appear in court Dec. 18.
